PGfy Account Deletion

At PGfy, we respect your right to delete your account and associated data. Whether you're a PG owner or tenant, you can request account deletion by following the process below.

Account Deletion Process

To delete your PGfy account:

Send an email to help@pgfy.in with the subject "Account Deletion Request"
Include the following information in your email:
- Your full name
- Registered email address
- Registered phone number
- Account type (PG Owner or Tenant)
- Reason for deletion (optional)
Our team will verify your account ownership within 3 business days
After verification, we will delete your account and all associated data
You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete

Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, all your personal information, property details, payment history, and other data will be permanently removed from our systems.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following information will be permanently removed:

Profile information
Property details (for PG owners)
Tenancy information (for tenants)
Payment history
Messages and communication history
Settings and preferences

Timeline

After receiving your request, we will verify your identity within 3 business days. Once verified, your account and associated data will be deleted immediately.
